How we work...

Cavalry’s Specialist Support Service helps adults and children who are autistic, have a learning disability, an acquired brain injury or a severe mental health problem to live a life which is as rich and fulfilling as possible.

Working closely and inclusively with the individual, their family and other professionals, we create a bespoke and responsive package of support which keeps them safe, whilst empowering – and gently encouraging – them to explore and extend the limits of their comfort zone.

Individualised Support...

Packages vary considerably from person to person, ranging from intensive support to help someone stay safe and comfortable, to supporting people to get out and about in the community and assisting them in the development of every day skills.

It’s very important that the person at the centre of the package gels with each member of their team, so we match our support workers very carefully, taking into account their personality and interests, as well as their experience, and ensuring that they receive specialist training bespoke to the needs of the person we are supporting.

Live life to the fullest...

Our specialist PBS team assist our clients to take positive risks, often achieving outcomes that had previously seemed impossible. Be it going horse riding, joining in with a family holiday, or making dinner independently, Cavalry are always there to provide support and encouragement.

Sometimes having a care provider in place can make life a bit boring… we believe it should be the exact opposite and enable you to do what’s important to you, and have fun doing it!
